Catalogue description

Pink Flowering Gum celebrates the sculptural beauty of Australian native flora at close range. A brilliant pink blossom dominates the composition, surrounded by blue-grey eucalyptus leaves and rounded buds rendered with careful shifts of colour and form. The intense magenta flower is balanced by cooler foliage and a deep green background, creating both drama and intimacy. The close cropping transforms a familiar native subject into a bold botanical portrait.
